The conference Advisory Committee and PEC staff developed an engaging format for the conference:
Day One, "The Learning Day," featured a mix of national and Pennsylvania-based speakers for panel discussions, audience Q&A, and keynotes. Each panel discussion featured a neutral, lead speaker, to provide an overview of the discussion topic from a well-rounded perspective. Two additional speakers followed and addressed opposing viewpoints. Finally, a moderator facilitated a group discussion and solicited questions from the audience.
On Day Two, attendees formed breakout groups to expand upon discussions held the previous day and to think critically about how each topic may apply in Pennsylvania.
